Happy Anniversary

Wedding Day

J and I are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary today. I can close my eyes and easily recall the soft glow of the conservatory garden setting, the anticipation of performing our choreographed first dance in front of family and friends, the crisp chill permeating the air while we were taking photos, and the sweet smile on J’s face when he saw my dress for the first time.

Planning the wedding of my dreams in less than 3 months catapulted me into a new world of creative possibilities. Fortunately, I had the privilege of working with some amazing vendors that beautifully translated my visions into a stunning reality. My mornings and nights during the months of August, September, and October of that year were spent frantically searching for design inspiration that could be implemented immediately… And, so began my venture into the wonderful world of wedding and design blogs.

My whirlwind wedding left me with a desire to continue tackling new creative projects… whether it is learning a new stamping technique, testing a recipe in the kitchen, exploring new countries, or embracing lessons in practicing gratitude.

Today, I am so grateful for my marriage… all of it… the laughter, challenges, surprises, tears, and amazing adventures. My dear James- here’s to designing a sweet future… one that is full of more delicious adventures!
